Well, this is sad news, but I think it is the right decision. Jerry and I were having long discussions over whether we could still go given the resurgence of COVID D variant.

Unhappy that we came to this point in the pandemic process, but I respect and support y’all’s decision.
I believe y'all have made a wise decision to put the health of everyone attending first, especially with the increase of those vaccinated getting and being able to spread the new variants.
I know it was hard, but I think you made the right decision. We hope to dance with you next year.

Sad news but given the pandemic reality, good to err on the side of caution.
I am so grateful to the FOOTMAD board members for the hard work to put on the Mentone event in the first place, and then having to struggle and make this hard decision to cancel. I’ll really miss seeing everyone! But it was the right decision. Love to everyone!
I'm so sad! But I knew it was coming, just miss dancing so much, especially with Contra folks.
